Quality Inspector

This Quality Inspector is available due to promotion, working within a niche sector of explosion protection solutions, providing engineering solutions for the materials handling and oil and gas industries, and other hazardous sectors.

This Quality Inspector will work in the production area, covering welding and mechanical inspection.

It is essential that you have a working history in quality control/assurance and have:

• Experience of conducting product inspections, visually and physical, to drawings and specifications
• Inspected machined items and can measure tolerances
• Carry out internal audits
• Data analysis
• Reporting
• High attention to detail
• Methodical approach
• Strong communication skills

Preferably you will also have experience of:

• Quality Inspection of welding
• Hold an inspection certificate
• Lean Six Sigma trained to at least Green belt
• Be level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or have relevant Engineering experience
