Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Location: Brighton

Salary: GBP46,942.21 per annum, Company Van, Pension, BUPA Healthcare, 33 days holiday.

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Standby: 1 week in every 4 weeks

We are advertising this Electrical Supervisor role on behalf of our client City Facilities Management . City FM was established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world s largest privately held, integrated FM companies.

Job Description

  • To maintain and repair a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment within retail outlets for a key national customer in a cost effective and efficient way.
  • Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures. Undertaking regular planned store visits, completing PPM tasks and minor repairs as requested by the customer.
  • Work will include multi-skill elements including basic plumbing, joinery and building repairs as well as core electrical tasks.
  • Ensure under performance on KPI s is understood and action plans are in place to drive improvement
  • Support the Divisional Account Manager on all technical / electrical issues
  • Complete specified reports and compliance documentation and act on any issues raised
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process of vacancies

People Responsibility

This role is currently responsible for managing a team of electricians (around 5). As the business grows the team size may increase accordingly

Qualifications required

  • You must be a fully qualified electrician with City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2 Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3.
  • C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection is desirable for this role but not an essential qualification
  • You must have an 18th edition certificate
  • You must have a valid UK driving licence
  • You must have a flexible attitude to work
  • This role also includes a call out rota of 1 in every 4 weeks covering evenings and weekends.
