Salary: 40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00-16:00, Friday: 08:00-13:30

Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected precision engineering manufacturer for a CNC Programmer / Project Engineer . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced machinist to step into a permanent role with strong progression potential. The position will focus on both online and offline CNC programming , working across a range of complex projects and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate a Weiler CNC Lathe (Siemens controls)
• Program and operate a Hurco CNC Mill
• Proficiency in Programming Offline with WinMax software
• Set, operate, and machine high-precision components
• Work independently and collaboratively within a busy workshop
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure work meets tight tolerances
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project work

Requirements:

• Strong CNC machining and programming experience (online & offline)
• Proficiency in Siemens controls and WinMax offline programming
• Experience with lathes, milling machines, and general machining equipment
• Engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship
• Able to work from own initiative with strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
