IT Systems Administrator

The Role: We are seeking a motivated Systems Administrator to join our Technical Services team, providing 3rd line ICT support and ensuring operational effectiveness.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Hands-on, flexible, and proactive approach
• Problem-solving flair and methodical issue diagnosis
• Knowledge of Windows OS (Client and Server), including builds, upgrades, and maintenance
• Windows Server functions (Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS)
• Microsoft 365 services (Entra, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams)
• Mobile device management across Apple and Android platforms
• Understanding of VMware and Hypervisor technologies
• Network services (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, Firewalls)
• Full driving license and access to own transport
• Security management solutions experience, including endpoint protection
• VoIP telephony systems experience

Desirable Skills:

• ITIL Foundation Certified
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS experience
• Intune / Workspace One Mobile Device Management
