Production Operative

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a background in manufacturing? We're looking for dedicated Production Operatives to join a leading manufacturer of single-use laboratory consumables in Newport.

Working with products like petri dishes, pipettes, and medical swabs, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of every item. This isn't your average factory job you'll be at the end of the production line, performing key tasks like:

• Inspecting and packing products to ensure they meet quality standards (checking for cracks, flaws, and correct counts).
• Completing essential paperwork for each production batch.
• Following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

You'll ideally have experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food manufacturing, or cosmetics . However, we are also open to candidates who have experience working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment and who are ready to learn.

You must be able to pass assessments in literacy and numeracy . Due to the nature of our clean-room environment, you cannot wear false nails, jewellery, strong perfumes/aftershaves, or chew gum on shift.

• Pay: 12.62 per hour
• Shift Pattern: A 7-day fortnight rota with 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am). This provides a great work-life balance with extended breaks.
• Location: Parkway, Newport NP11 3EF
