Electrical Technician


Randstad is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer, with an Electrical bias to join a National Facilities Contractor within a large and progressive mobile team in West Kent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a proactive and smooth operation of building maintenance across 5 leisue sites in Tonbridge.

Job Specification:

Responding to any reactive and the planned maintenance to electrical systems and fittings throughout the building such as: Completing log books, Motors, Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Electrical tasks (Ballasts, Batteries, Small Installations)

Ensure strong communication to clients

Manage workload accordingly and manage statutory compliances and logbooks onsite

Carry out works in accordance to health and safety procedure Routine tests, checks and record keeping for all the buildings systems through traditional methods and use of building analytics and predictive maintenance techniques.

Salary & Package:

Company Mobile and Tablet for business use.

26 Days Holiday & competitive Company Pension Scheme

Working hours 8:00am - 16:30pm, Monday - Friday and On call rota 1 in 4 weekends.

Experience:

Ideally the client is seeking an individual with commercial experience within lesiure/ retail/ warehouse as well as being competent in travelling between locations - Able to liaise with all clients at each base.

Skills Required:

Good technical skills.
Technically qualified with (City & Guilds, HNC etc)
Electrical qualifications - City & Guilds 236 parts 1 and 2
Must be able to communicate in an articulate manner both verbally and electronically.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Multi-skilled. (desirable)
