Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Occupational Therapist to join Blackburn and Darwen Council's Community-based Assessments and Interventions team. This is a full time role offering 30 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering essential community-based assessments and interventions for individuals requiring equipment, minor and major adaptations to support their independence and well-being.
  • Conduct community assessments in a local authority setting, identifying needs and recommending both standard and specialist equipment.
  • Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptations to enhance safety and functionality within clients' homes.
  • Perform manual handling assessments, ensuring safe practices and compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to create individualiSed support plans.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in line with professional and legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapist Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS
  • HCPC registration

Experience:

  • Adults
