Quality Engineer

Principal People are currently working on behalf of a well-established, specialist manufacturing organisation who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team.

This role will be based near to Andover and this role will be responsible for undertaking company quality audits / inspections, supplier quality audits, assisting with the maintenance and development of the companies Quality Management Systems, assisting in the development of a Continuous Improvement culture, identification of common quality issues, identify and highlight opportunities for improvement in the organisation s day to day activities amongst other relevant responsibilities.

This role will be wholly site based is to pay the successful candidate a competitive industry salary + package. Below are the essential criteria for this contract;

Essential Criteria:

Hold Quality based experience within manufacturing / engineering / automotive / aerospace
Have experience working within one of the following regulated industries: ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949
Experience in problem solving and investigation tools such as 8D, CAPA, 5-Whys.
Have strong verbal and written skills
Be an engaging and communicative individual able to liaise at all levels.
