CNC Machinist

CNC MACHINIST REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE START - IPSWICH, SUFFOLK
14.50 p/hour 37.5 hours/week Overtime Available

A long-standing manufacturer in Ipswich is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. This is a stable, long-term position, ideal for someone looking to settle and grow within the company.

You'll be programming and operating HAAS CNC Lathes, producing precision components to tight tolerances.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
• Friday: 07:30 - 13:30 (early finish)

CNC Machinist Duties:

• Programming and operating CNC lathes (HAAS)
• Reading and working from technical drawings
• Producing parts from mild steel and aluminium
• Working closely with a small, experienced team
• Ensuring accuracy and quality in all machining tasks

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, Turner or Programmer
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
