My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm based in Redditch, commutable from Solihull, Bromsgrove, Alvechurch, Studley, and Henley-in-Arden.

They are currently looking for an experienced CNC Milling Setter Operator to join their team.

The Role: CNC Milling Setter Operator

Set and operate CNC 3/4-axis Milling Machines
Work on Fanuc-based controls
Read and work from engineering drawings
Inspect and quality check own work using measuring equipment
Maintain machinery, including swarf removal, routine oiling, and greasing
Carry out any other duties as required and deemed appropriate
Comply with all company rules, including Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements

Minimum Skills / Experience Required: CNC Milling Setter Operator

Proven experience in setting and operating CNC 3/4-axis Milling Machines
Knowledge of Fanuc control systems essential
Experience working with precision engineering and to tight tolerances
Previous work in the Aerospace or Automotive industry is desirable
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Confident in quality checking own work
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Motivated and an excellent team player

The Package: CNC Milling Setter Operator

Starting rate GBP16.50 per hour negotiable dependent on experience
Choice of shift (you can choose either days, afternoons or nights) Mon Fri Flexible Shift Pattern
