Manufacturing Technician

Location: Cambridge (CB25)
Duration: Ongoing with the potential to go temp to perm
Hours: 8.00am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: 15ph/ 29,250 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Technician to assist a company based just north of Cambridge city. Full training will be given on specific products.

Responsibilities:

Building new and existing products / scientific instruments and systems
Working from prototype / draft instructions

Key skills required:

Experience in electromechanical build
Troubleshooting/fault finding skills
Experience in Manufacturing Processes and techniques
Experience with pre-production and NPI processes
Prototyping experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to follow verbal instruction as well as written standard operating procedures, work instructions, e-drawings
Experience with surface mount PCB assembly
Wiring and cable assembly experience
IT literate
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to adapt to flexible work priorities and multitask
