Logistics and Warehouse Manager

Location: Ely (CB6) Duration: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 4.30 pm (Hybrid working available) Salary: Competitive Job Reference: 35787 We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager for our Ely based client. You will lead the UK logistics team and oversee courier accounts, warehouse operations and compliance with health and safety and customs regulations. You'll play a key role in supporting European logistics projects and maintaining AEO accreditation. Responsibilities: Lead and motivate a small logistics team, conduct appraisals and manage recruitment and training Ensure HandS compliance, conduct risk assessments and act as Fire Marshal Manage daily logistics operations, optimise resources and monitor KPIs Oversee UK carrier relationships and freight cost reviews Support trade compliance and customs procedures Requirements: Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience managing warehouse operations Proven leadership in international logistics and warehouse operations Strong understanding of customs controls and courier account management Familiarity with lean principles and ERP systems Excellent problem-solving, communication and organisational skills Ability to lead and drive projects, motivating your team, to achieve successful completion Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
