Location: Cambridge (CB3) Duration: Permanent Hours: 37.25 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 3.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 3.15pm) Salary: 26900 - 30800 plus generous holiday allowance Job Reference: 35694 We are seeking a hands-on Catering Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality catering and hospitality services within a busy environment for our Cambridge based client. You will manage day-to-day operations of a weekday caf??-style servery, provide catering for internal and external functions and ensure all services meet health, hygiene and financial standards. Responsibilities: Oversee daily caf??/servery operations, including breakfast and lunch service Manage catering for events such as meetings, seminars and conferences Line-manage a catering assistant and supervise event staff Maintain budgets, monitor income/expenditure and handle card payments Maintain stock levels and ensure equipment is operational Cover reception/admin duties when needed Requirements: Minimum GCSE-level education Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene (Catering) qualification Experience in catering, budgeting and staff supervision Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Confident managing food safety standards and allergen regulations Desirable: Flexible approach to working hours as required to cover functions Comfortable working as part of a wider front-of-house team
