The Supplier Quality Engineer's purpose is to assess and assure the Supplier and the quality of products and services they provide are compliant with contractual requirements. The post holder will support the rollout of new programmes as well as develop and implement product standards for use between internal quality and external supply chain.

Profile
A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:
Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams.HNC / HND or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
Internal Auditor AS9100 trained
Sound engineering / quality background, with experience of Quality inspection within a manufacturing / engineering industry.
Proven experience within a Supplier Quality role
In depth understanding and/or experience in utilising QA Tools such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, Poke Yoke and RCCA
Excellent knowledge of measuring equipment and general improvement tools (such as Lean, 6 Sigma)
Demonstrable experience in managing risks related to materials, special processes, laboratories
Proficient in quality analysis tools such as 8D SPC, PFMEA, and others
Knowledge of HSE risk management and flight safety risk management
