Warehouse Opertative

On point personnel are currently for warehouse operatives to work at their busy distribution warehouse in BD7.

Working Hours - rotating shifts

Monday To Friday 06:00am-14:30pm & 13:30pm-22:00pm - GBP12.21ph

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing various tasks related to inventory control, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury
• Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders
• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling of materials
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Assist in materials handling, ensuring proper storage and retrieval of products

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with picking and packing processes is desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is essential.
