Woodworking Assistant

Impact Recruitment is proud to be working with a growing and well-respected business based in Kettering. Our client is looking for a reliable, hands-on Workshop Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

Location: Kettering
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm Friday, 7:30am-12:30pm
Pay: 13.50 per hour (with potential pay increase after 6 months)

What you'll be doing:

• Keeping the yard and workshop clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Safely stacking wood panels and handling materials
• Operating the edge bander machine (training provided if necessary)
• Packing customer orders and managing waste/recycling
• Supporting skilled team members with woodworking tasks and general duties

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working with timber or in a woodworking environment
• Comfortable using woodworking tools and machinery
• Experience in a factory or workshop setting
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-first attitude
• Good attention to detail and a proactive mindset
