Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Laser CNC Focused
Location: South Birmingham - Outskirts of Redditch
Salary: Depending on experience - upwards of 45k per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Manufacturing Manager in achieving objectives
• Create robust programs for EDM/Laser/CNC machinery
• Designing jigs, fixtures and press tools

About You:
If you have experience of create CAD CAM programs within precision engineering using Solidworks / SolidCAM software then this role could be perfect for you! You do not need to have Laser experience to be successful in this role. Full training on the Laser machines will be offered for someone who is eager to learn and develop thier skills further.

Essential Requirements:

• Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

This position requires the successful candidate to undergo UK security clearance. To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the above essential requirements. Please note that due to the security clearance requirements, we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.

Skills Required:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Manufacturing / Production / CAD CAM Engineer with a focus on Laser, CNC or Wire EDM machining
• Previous experience in Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Power Generation, Medical, Nuclear industries
• Strong experience in Programming offline using CAD CAM packages such as Solidworks & SolidCAM
• Able to create jigs and fixtures - tooling and fixturing design experience
