Our client is a nice company, looking to grow their team of Machine Operators.

This is a unique role, that will be site based. Chesterfield based candidates would be ideal.

The right candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as a machine operator and have strong health & safety values. To be successful you must have a strong work ethic and follow correct SOPs. Any experience working on Air Jet Mills is a plus.

Details - Machine Operator

In return for your commitment, you can expect:

• GBP29,603.76 p/a

• Rotational Shifts (Days, Night, Afters) 8 hour shift

• Mon-Fri

• 20 Days Holiday, plus Bank Holidays

• 40 hour weeks

As a Machine Operator , you will be responsible for .

• Setting up, operating and monitoring air jet mills and classification equipment

• Comply with correct safety protocols and complete regular checks of PPE

• You must consistently wear correct PPE including but not limited to respiratory protection, safety goggles, gloves, and protective clothing

• Accurately recording all findings and maintaining records for production batches

• Lifting materials that weight up to 25kg

• Conduct sampling intervals to monitor product quality and report deviations from specification

To be successful in this role for Machine Operator you MUST have:

• Have competent Numeracy & Literacy skills

• Have the capacity to lift 25kg and perform tasks that may involve standing, bending and repetitive motion

• Be able to wear a RPE

• Be hard-working and pro-active

• Work towards a high health and safety standard
