Quantity Surveyor

We're working with a well-established construction company with 50+ years of experience and a growing turnover of 20m per year. They operate mainly across South Yorkshire, delivering projects from 100k to 9.5m, with most in the 500k- 4m range. Their clients include public and private sector organisations, including frameworks like Yorbuild3 and NHS projects.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their busy team, based at their modern Rotherham office (free parking & EV charging available). You'll report directly to the Directors and work closely with the senior management team, with scope for career progression. Flexible hybrid working is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects financially from start to finish (JCT & NEC contracts)
• Handle procurement, valuations, and variations/change orders
• Manage cash flow, financial statements, and final accounts
• Cost reconciliation and project reporting
• Subcontract accounts management and payments
• Support senior management on company-wide financial matters

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role with companies of comparable size
• Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying practices and contract management
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively

Salary & Benefits

Intermediate QS

• 3+ years post-qualification experience Degree in Quantity Surveying
• 35k- 45k + 10% annual bonus 4k car allowance
• 26 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays

Senior QS

• 5-7+ years post-qualification experience Degree + ideally RICS
• 45k- 60k + 10% annual bonus 5k car allowance
• 26 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
