FACTORY & PRODUCTION MANAGER

DAYS (45 HOURS - MONDAY-SUNDAY COVERAGE) UP TO GBP60,000

We are looking for a motivated factory/production manager to join a very stable food manufacturing/processing company in the UK. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. The position will appeal to a strong manager looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the facility.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
• Implement and monitor efficiency and performance metrics.
• Maintain rigorous quality control protocols to ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of production staff, supervisors, and support personnel.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
• Utilise Lean Manufacturing principles and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the food production industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards
