The ideal candidate will have a broad range of financial experience, encompassing the preparation and oversight of financial records, from initial bookkeeping activities through to trial balance and the production of management accounts. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of supporting the financial health and reporting needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a broad range of financial experience, encompassing the preparation and oversight of financial records, from initial bookkeeping activities through to trial balance and the production of management accounts. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of supporting the financial health and reporting needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including general bookkeeping and transaction recording
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate trial balances
- Prepare and analyse management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Provide insights to aid decision-making and improve financial performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a finance role within a manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles through to trial balance and management accounts
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good communication skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders
