Payroll Manager


asanovas Recruitment Solution has an exciting opportunity to lead a well-established, high-performing Payroll Team within a large organistion. This hybrid role combines technical payroll expertise, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties will include:

  • Oversee end-to-end in-house payroll processing for the entire business.

  • Provide expert advice to line managers on payroll and workforce information.

  • Ensure payroll authorisations are in line with audit and regulatory standards .

  • Manage all payroll-related statutory filings (RTI, P11D, PSA, etc.).

  • Serve as the main liaison with internal and external auditors .

  • Ensure compliance with data protection legislation in payroll data management.

  • Lead payroll improvement projects and promote best practices.

  • Monitor and improve payroll processes and team performance.

  • Keep current with payroll law changes and disseminate updates accordingly.

  • Train and develop Payroll Team members in process improvement and policy interpretation.

  • Set and monitor KPIs for service quality (e.g., error reports).
