An opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a growing team of geotechnical and environmental engineers based in Northamptonshire.

Main role and duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and managing ground investigation work across the UK as directed by the Senior Engineers. More specifically you will be:
Working with and to become a geotechnical professional
Working both outside and office based throughout the year
Applicants will be expected to work on site in varying locations around the UK
Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling
Participating in a variety of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects for both external clients and for other teams
Assisting with desk studies and design/scoping of investigations
Site supervision of ground investigations, earthworks and construction activities
Collating geological/geotechnical data and report writing
Managing site activities and subcontractors
Experience, qualifications and attributes:
Minimum BSc in geology, geography or environmental science related degree
No industry experience necessary
Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Must hold a full clean driving licence.
Must be prepared to travel UK wide and stay away from home on occasion.
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Have good written English skill
Enjoy working outside as well as in an office environment
