About the Production Supervisor job

The production supervisor will be responsible for quality control, efficient production and timely delivery of smoked fish products daily. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the production equipment is kept in a good state of maintenance. They will be able to facilitate the training of staff and be able to plan work schedules accordingly. The Production Supervisor will have experience of working in the ready to eat food production industry.

Key tasks

• Supervision of a team across the production floor and implementing working schedules.
• Complete the daily signing of data sheets, ensuring all equipment is safe, clean and signed off prior to usage.
• The planning and preparation of all fish-based tasks, Quality control of products.
• Ensuring the production process complies with HACCP and all other food safety legislation.
• Undertaking any additional reasonable tasks set by the Production manager and play a key role in the expansion and growth of this successful brand.

About You

• Product experience of high-risk, chilled prepared products such as fish/seafood would be a great advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player with leadership qualities.
• Experience within the ready to eat food industry and mastered knife skills.
• Detail oriented in order to improve and maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Ability to be objective and ensure an enjoyable working environment.

The Production Supervisor job (ref:8888) is paying GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 according to your experience.

The site is near New Malden and is commutable from Wimbledon, Brixton, Croydon, Kingston-Upon Thames and Hounslow (London, South-East London)

The working hours are Monday to Friday (7.00am to 4.00pm and 8.00am to 5.00pm).
