Role Overview: The successful Mechanical Design engineer will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings using SolidWorks 3D solid modelling software, designing and selecting equipment, issuing Bills of Materials for manufacture, and collaborating with the workshop team. Additional duties include developing new product designs, conducting prototype testing, maintaining existing designs, attending site surveys, and participating in internal pre-let meetings. There are also opportunities to engage in project management, contracting, health & safety, and quality management.
