We are currently recruiting for the role of a high calibre Project Manager to manage the construction of a student accommodation project based in Dublin City Centre. Reporting to the Head of Development, the successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, leading our project and site teams and key stakeholders to manage delivery of one of our high quality development projects. Key responsibilities: Typically, the candidate will be expected to undertake the following duties: Responsible for project delivery to the required quality, programme, health & safety and environmental standards, in full compliance with Planning Permission, Building Regulations and all other relevant standards. Preparation and delivery of Project Delivery Plan to set out key project delivery parameters including Procurement Strategy, Baseline Programme/target programme, Budget targets, along with Identification of key project risks and associated mitigation measures. Manage the commercial delivery of the project in conjunction with the commercial team. Manage and own the relationships with project subcontractors and design teams ensuring efficient sequencing of the works and information production. Develop and manage relationships with key project stakeholders. Provide leadership and management to the project construction team to drive high standards ensuring that the required resources are in place for the construction team. Responsible for accurate, transparent reporting and forecasting. The Candidate: Background in large scale mixed residential or commercial construction with a proven track record of successfully leading project teams. Qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent. Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards Strong commercial, negotiation skills, good spoken and written communication skills Methodical, excellent attention to detail and accurate with an ability to co-ordinate a number of different priorities at the same time. Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative and willing to work in a team.
