We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at the Riverside Site in Dufftown , where you'll be critical in ensuring our plant runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with operational standards.

Your Role

As Maintenance Team Leader, you ll be accountable for:

• Leading and developing a high-performing maintenance team.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards.
• Managing and executing both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Driving performance against KPIs through data-led decision-making.
• Supporting budget control, stock levels, and spare part strategies.
• Playing a hands-on role in troubleshooting and maintenance when needed.
• Taking a key role in contractor management, training delivery, and shutdown planning.

What We re Looking For

Essential:

• HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating maintenance teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
• Permit to Work knowledge and commitment to high safety standards.
• Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel knowledge.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

Preferred:

• Experience in anaerobic digestion or renewable energy.
• IOSH certification or equivalent safety qualification.
• Familiarity with PAS110, CMMS systems, and FMECA processes.
• Auditing or budget management experience.
