Role Overview:
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, freeholders, and leaseholders. Your role involves ensuring the delivery of top-quality management services while adhering to company policies, legal regulations, and best practices. This position may involve supervising an assistant property manager and supporting their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct property inspections, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage finances, including budget preparation, service charge agreements, and financial reporting.
Oversee insurance coverage for developments and handle insurance claims efficiently.
Coordinate and attend meetings with clients, landlords, residents, and regulatory bodies.
Handle correspondence, administration tasks, and statutory consultations effectively.
Address breaches of lease terms, manage complaints, and liaise with legal professionals when necessary.
Manage contractor relationships, including selection, supervision, and compliance checks.
Assist with property sales and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
Fulfil general property management duties in accordance with company guidelines and industry standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience in property management or a related field.
Strong understanding of property management principles, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise workload effectively.
Proficiency in relevant software applications and financial management tools.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry developments.
ATPI Qualified (previously AIRPM) with experience in managing high rise complex buildings (advantageous)
