Civils Section Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Civils Section Engineer on behalf of a tier 1 contractor for initial work based in Beverley. The company are a large Tier 1 main contractor, delivering a multitude of infrastructure solutions nationwide. This initial project is a 2+ year flagship project that will significantly improve the transport & traffic flow in the local area. A large scale £60m+ highways project and a job that has gained a lot of press in the region. Duties: * Responsible for leading the daily delivery of a section of works. * Managing Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers in their work. * Dealing with RAMS & documentation / permits for site. * Manage sub-contractors. * Involvement with Temporary Works. * Liaise with design team and senior management to ensure smooth running of work. * Monitoring deliverables with management on site to ensure work delivered to programme & deadlines met. * Inspection test plans & QA throughout. Experience Required: * Must have experience working as Section Engineer or Senior Engineer for a principal civil engineering contractor. * Must have experience working as Civils Site Engineer on large civil engineering projects (£20m+). * Must have experience on projects covering: highways & structures. * Ideally will have an industry related qualification (HNC/HND or Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree). Remuneration: On offer is a salary of up to £50,000 (dependent on experience) alongside a generous package including: vehicle or allowance, increased pension, annual leave, private healthcare and much more!
