HR Advisor - 12 Month FTC

Our client, a prominent Facilities Management organisation, is seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join their team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. This full-time role offers flexibility, with the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere across the UK, along with occasional travel as needed. About the Role:

As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in driving improvements in culture, change management, compliance, and cost control to enhance employee engagement and financial results. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will provide vital support for people matters, assisting line managers in delivering positive changes within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide guidance and support to line managers in all people processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering employee engagement.
- Coach line managers to enhance their capabilities in managing their teams and embed a leadership framework.
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to execute the HR strategy effectively.
- Offer advice and support on grievance/disciplinary actions, including attending hearings when necessary.
- Manage staff relationships, addressing queries, problems, and expectations promptly and effectively.
- Monitor the annual performance cycle, ensuring timely completion and accuracy of data.
- Assist with month-end reporting, ensuring accurate data collation and timely submission.
- Disseminate communications, spreadsheets, policies & processes, and updates on progress against people objectives.
- Provide recruitment support, liaising with line managers and the resourcing team.
- Monitor absence management in detail, agreeing on improvement plans with line managers and supporting their delivery.
- Drive business performance in alignment with organisational objectives.
- Implement new HR initiatives and contribute to various HR projects.
- Foster good relations (informal and formal) with the recognised trade union.

Who We're Looking For:

- Experience in an HR Advisor role or an FM management role.
- Proven track record in HR generalist and change management roles.
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practices.
- Strong communication skills in person, email, and letter.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Experience in gathering and presenting data.
- Part-qualified CIPD member would be advantageous.
