Geography Teacher Location: Oldham Start Date: Immediate start Contract: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:00pm) until July 2026. (could become permanent for the right Geography Teacher.) Salary: £160 to £200 per day About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Oldham. This is a full-time position starting immediately and continuing until July 2026, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students and fostering a love for the subject within a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 Assess, monitor, and report on student progress Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management Contribute to a supportive and collaborative department Uphold high standards of teaching and learningThe Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching History or Humanities in a secondary school setting Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills A proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach A commitment to supporting student achievement and wellbeingRequirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Two professional referencesIf you are a motivated Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a thriving secondary school, we would love to hear from you.
