Children’s Home Registered Manager – EBD & LD Birmingham, West Midlands £50,000 – £65,000 per year (DOE) Permanent | Full-Time Lead with Purpose. Inspire Change. Transform Young Lives. Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready to lead a well-established children’s home and make a lasting difference? Balfor Recruitment is proud to be working with a stable and nurturing 3-bed residential home supporting children and young people aged 5–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD). As the Registered Manager of the home, you will: * Hold and maintain Ofsted registration, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. * Provide strong, visible leadership that inspires and motivates your team * Create and oversee high-quality, person-centred care plans tailored to each child. * Promote a therapeutic, outcome-focused culture across the home. * Drive continuous improvement and strive for excellence in care delivery. * Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and risk management standards are always upheld. * Work collaboratively with external professionals, families, and agencies. We are seeking a confident and experienced Registered Managerwho brings: * Recent experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential setting. * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). * Strong experience supporting children with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities. * Minimum 2 years’ experience managing and developing residential care teams. * Up-to-date knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and multi-agency working. * A proven track record of achieving at least a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating within the last 2 years. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. * Enhanced DBS.
