Hgv Class 1 Driver

JAM Staffing Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious Telford based client.

Excellent working conditions, clean new fleet of vehicles, ongoing work.

Immediate start after successfully completing an on-site assessment. Ongoing work.

Delivery of chilled food product to RDC's or trunking between depots

Average shift length 10 hours. Must be prepared to work some weekends.

Various start times all through the day and night, so flexability on start times is a must

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
• Minimum 1 year commercial experience driving this category of vehicle.
• No more than 6 points on your licence (No DR, DD, CD or IN codes)
• Valid CPC & Digi card
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay rates (PAYE only)

• GBP16.10ph (day) / GBP17.35ph (night)

Pay rates (PAYE) Including Holiday Pay

• GBP18.04ph (days) / GBP19.44ph (nights)

• Resonsibilies will include but not exclusive.
• Delivery of chilled / ambient products to RDC / NDC
• Ensuring all paperwork is correct and collected
• Vehicle checks in line with current legislation, walk around apps and report any damage directly to transport office.
• Adhere and follow current WTD and tacho legislation
