IT Support Engineer – Azure / VMware Manchester An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer with Azure and VMware expertise to join a growing infrastructure team based in Manchester. Working for a well-established organisation specialising in secure data and information management services, you’ll support critical IT systems across multiple sites. This is a fantastic chance to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment, contributing to the stability, performance and ongoing development of both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. Duties & Responsibilities Support, maintain and improve multi-site IT infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments Manage and optimise Windows Servers, Azure services, VMware platforms and storage systems Respond to incidents and escalations to minimise downtime and business disruption Ensure systems are secure, patched and operating efficiently Maintain documentation and manage support tickets in line with service standards What Experience is Required At least 5 years’ experience in enterprise-level infrastructure support Strong knowledge of Azure, VMware, Windows Server and excellent understanding and experience managing Active Directory SAN and storage management experience Understanding of disaster recovery, high availability and business continuity planning Salary & Benefits Salary up to £55,000 Comprehensive benefits package Ongoing training and certification support Exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure On-call allowance and career progression opportunities Location Manchester – commutable from Stockport, Salford, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale and Warrington.
