Functional Assessor – Adult Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Pharmacists Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm  Full Time & Part Time Available. Work Setting: Split - Remote and Site-based.   Salary: £39,500 - £49,000 + annual salary uplifts and bonus scheme. Role Overview: Conduct Assessments: Evaluate claimants' health and/or work capabilities via phone and face-to-face assessments. Review Evidence: analyse medical evidence, health questionnaires, and daily living activities. Compile Reports: Produce detailed reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) PIP Functional Assessor (3 assessments per day)  WCA Functional Assessor (5/6 shorter assessments per day) Example Tasks: Interview claimants to understand their health conditions and daily challenges. Review medical records and write comprehensive reports. Provide recommendations based on thorough assessments. Training Program: Successful candidates will complete a 12-week comprehensive training program covering (amongst other things): Assessment Techniques: Best practices for accurate evaluations. DWP Guidelines: Requirements and guidelines of the Department for Work and Pensions. Report Writing: Skills for detailed and objective reporting.
