A Primary School in Fleetwood, Lancashire (FY7) are looking to recruit a sports graduate for a Teaching Assistant vacancy starting ASAP. The role will involve encouraging students to interact and work collaboratively with others and engage in all sporting activities to ensure all pupils are included and eager to participate. The role will run alongside a general Year 5 Teaching Assistant position, although the successful applicant will engage with all year groups assisting with Physical Education where necessary. This is a larger than average, 2 form entry primary school which focuses on making learning engaging and interactive. The successful applicant will work alongside KS1 and KS2 practitioners to aid progression across all subject areas whilst encouraging and supporting with PE throughout the school. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience within a classroom or coaching environment with a view to beginning a career in education Experience supporting children with specific needs Experience working with children on a 1:1 basis This position will start ASAP and will run until the end of the academic year. The position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
