Mechanical Operations Manager

Mechanical Operations Manager  £65,000 - £75,000 Basic + Package + MORE  A growing, medium-sized M&E contractor is currently looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Operations Manager to support their continued expansion across London and Essex. The business has built a strong reputation through quality delivery, repeat clients and a collaborative approach with both staff and customers. With a solid pipeline of secured work and further growth planned, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a company on the up, where they can genuinely make an impact. Reporting into the senior leadership team, this role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, managing multiple projects and supporting site teams to deliver successfully. Key responsibilities include: • Liaising with site teams across a variety of projects, from smaller works through to larger schemes • Supporting technical reviews and assisting with procurement alongside the office team • Managing progress against programme, drawings and specifications • Ensuring labour and materials are planned effectively to keep projects running smoothly • Preparing and presenting weekly progress reports • Coordinating labour and resource through 2-week lookahead programmes • Ensuring site processes such as RFIs, CVIs and daily documentation are completed The ideal candidate will have: • A strong mechanical background and completed trade apprenticeship • Experience delivering projects typically ranging from £20k – £3m • A proven track record of managing multiple live projects • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar role For a confidential discussion or further information, please get in touch and call Emily on (phone number removed)
