Gates and Auto door Engineer

Job Title: Gates and Auto Door Engineer Salary: £45,000 per annum Location: London & South East Region Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Gates and Auto Door Engineer to join a growing team, covering London and the South East. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated gates and door systems. Key Responsibilities * Installation, servicing, and fault-finding on a range of automated gates, barriers, and automatic door systems (swing, sliding, telescopic, etc.) * Carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance visits across commercial and residential sites * Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues efficiently * Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and industry regulations * Maintaining detailed records of work completed and liaising with the office team to ensure smooth job progression * Providing excellent customer service on-site Requirements * Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 3 years preferred) * Strong knowledge of gate automation and automatic door systems * Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence * Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications desirable (e.g. 17th/18th Edition, NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) * IPAF, PASMA, or DHF qualifications are a plus * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team What We Offer * Competitive salary of £45,000 per annum * Company van, tools, uniform, and fuel card provided * Overtime opportunities and performance-based bonuses * 25 days annual leave + bank holidays * Ongoing training and development * Supportive team environment and clear progression path
