Job Title: Health & Safety Manager (temp to perm) Salary: £36,114 - £41,604 p.a. (DOE) Location: Suffolk (multi-site – travel required) Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week Contract: Temp to Perm We’re seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop health, safety, and wellbeing across a multi-site organisation. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a proactive professional with strong NEBOSH qualifications and the confidence to influence staff at all levels. Key responsibilities: * Act as the primary point of contact for health and safety matters. * Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and management systems. * Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, providing practical recommendations. * Deliver training and guidance to staff, contractors, and visitors. * Lead incident investigations and compliance reporting, including RIDDOR. * Analyse safety data and provide reports to senior leadership. * Line manage a part-time Health & Safety Adviser. Essential requirements: * NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. * Maths and English at Level 2 (or equivalent). * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. * Proven knowledge of health and safety legislation and risk management. Desirable: * IOSH membership. * Experience in education or multi-site environments. * Experience with audit/inspection software (e.g., iAuditor).
