Mechanical Fitter

Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that we are working on behalf of a global leading Company to recruit a Mechanical Fitter on Permanent Basis in Stok-on-Trent. Location: Stoke-on-Trent Basis: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday Summary: The Mechanical Fitter will construct all products (standard/non standard) in line with quality documentation and quality system including GA & P&ID diagrams. Duties and Responsibilities: * Ability to work with ABS & UPVC pipework and fittings * Ability to read and terminate electrically to an industry acceptable standard when required, to termination and schematic diagrams * Working with other teams within the business to achieve overall objectives within specified timescale * Fabrication and welding of carbon and stainless steel assemblies * Ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, policies and requirements are strictly adhered to at all times * Maintain a safe and tidy working environment * Provide on-the-job training/support to new team members * Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents * Exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way, and be sensitive to audience diversity * The role will be subject to standardised procedures and practices to ensure products are delivered to our quality standards Required Skills/Qualifications: * 3+ years fabrication experience in a similar role (essential) * English, Maths & IT GCSE or equivalent (essential) * Knowledge of Microsoft/ Google suite (desirable) * FLT/ Crane operating licence would be an advantage
