Key Responsibilities: * Lead the planning and delivery of internal compliance reviews across multiple departments and project sites * Monitor and assess adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures * Collaborate with the Internal Audit Manager to execute the wider compliance and governance strategy * Evaluate operational risks and implement proactive controls to mitigate exposure * Conduct site visits and inspections to assess compliance performance against industry standards * Produce clear, insightful compliance reports with recommendations for corrective action * Liaise with project teams and department heads to support implementation of compliance improvements * Monitor and track progress against compliance objectives and ensure follow-up actions are completed * Act as a subject matter expert in compliance matters, offering guidance to stakeholders at all levels Skills and Experience: * Qualified Lead Auditor (essential) * Practical compliance or audit experience within construction * CQI Associate/Member/Chartered preferred * Proven ability to design and implement compliance frameworks and audit plans * Strong understanding of risk management, controls, and regulatory environments * Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with senior leaders and site teams alike * Ability to influence, educate, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement * Resilient, self-motivated, and confident working both independently and collaboratively Remuneration & Benefits: * Up to £62,000 basic salary * Car or car allowance * Hybrid working arrangement * Pension scheme * Private health insurance * Comprehensive IT package * Supportive, growth-focused team environment
