Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: South Yorkshire Salary: £55,000/£70,000 + Package (D.O.E) Our client a leading Main Contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to cover schemes (Residential, Student Accommodation, Care, Industrial, Commercial) throughout the Yorkshire region. Job Role: * Meeting clients to determine their needs and discuss any areas that need revising for price or feasibility * Calculating material quantities and costs, labour costs and an achievable project timeframe * Negotiating labour contracts and schedules * Advising clients and crew on legal matters and disputes * Monitoring subcontractors, safety practices, construction progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact costs * Preparing labour and supplier accounts for payment * Writing reports detailing costs and progress for clients * Mentoring Junior personnel within the commercial team Offering a generous benefits package and work alongside some of the best people in the industry, this is a great opportunity to join a company with a healthy pipeline of works in the region.
