Pay: £36.00-£37.00 per hour Job Description: Job Title: Repairs Supervisor (Social Housing) Location: South London Pay Rate: £37.49 per hour (Umbrella) Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (via Agency) About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Repairs Supervisor to join a leading social housing provider in South London. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with the potential to go permanent, working through a reputable agency. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery to residents while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and support a team of operatives carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance * Manage workloads, allocate jobs, and monitor performance to meet KPIs and SLAs * Carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure works are completed to a high standard * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies * Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently * Manage materials, subcontractors, and budgets effectively * Produce reports and maintain accurate records of works and performance Requirements: * Proven experience in a similar Repairs Supervisor role within social housing or property maintenance * Strong knowledge of responsive repairs and maintenance services * Excellent leadership and team management skills * Good understanding of health & safety legislation (e.g., CDM regulations) * Strong communication and problem-solving abilities * Full UK driving licence (essential) What’s on Offer: * Competitive rate of £37.49 per hour (Umbrella) * Opportunity to transition into a permanent position * Work with a well-established housing provider * Supportive team and structured working environment How to Apply: If you are an experienced Repairs Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in South London, apply today with your updated CV.
