A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately . This is a full-time, long-term position continuing until the end of the academic year.
Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties both inside and outside the classroom.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students to help them engage positively with learning.
Work closely with teaching staff, the pastoral team, and external agencies to develop and implement effective behaviour support strategies.
Provide 1:1 mentoring and small group interventions to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Serve as a consistent and positive role model for students across the school.
Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational or youth work setting.
A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to managing behaviour and supporting emotional development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
