Childrens Home Manager

Registered Manager (Childrens home) Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + up to £7,000 bonus About the role We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a beautiful 3-bed children’s home set in a rural location near Shrewsbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, therapeutic organisation committed to delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people. As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, compliance and care in line with Ofsted regulations. You will lead, support and develop a dedicated team, creating a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children can thrive. Key responsibilities * Lead the overall management of the children’s home * Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards * Provide strong, supportive leadership to staff * Promote a therapeutic and child-centred approach to care * Oversee care planning, quality assurance and service development * Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting * Work closely with external professionals and stakeholders * Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for children About you We are looking for someone who is: * An experienced Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy ready to step up * Knowledgeable in children’s homes regulations and Ofsted requirements * A confident and proven leader with strong team development skills * Passionate about therapeutic care and improving young lives * Holding (or working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management What we offer * Salary up to £55,000 per annum * Performance-related bonus of up to £7,000 * Death in Service benefit * Private healthcare * Full DDP (Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy) training for all managers
