Head of Logistics and Services

The candidate must have the following international / global Logistics strategy for Services. Master’s in Business Administration, Sciences or related field A minimum of 8 years in a related international / global operational field, with significant exposure to Logistics and Industrialisation Experience defining business strategy and product / service roadmap Proven ability to identify, analyse, and solve ambiguous problems independently with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders successfully without formal authority and lead cross-functional teams across geographies and business units. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is required and ambiguity is constant. With experience of: Six Sigma, Supply Management, Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain Optimization, Demand Planning, Demand Forecasting, Global Sourcing, Logistics, Warehousing, Forecasting, Supply Chain Management, Negotiation, Vendor Management, Process Improvement, ERP, Strategic Planning, Strategy, Operations Management, Program Management, Warehouse Management, Cross Functional Team Leadership, Change Management Group Head of Logistics Manager Reporting to the managing director You will be Responsible for: Physical Inventory management, Warehousing, Transport, Internal Hardware Repair & Software Configuration workshops. Scope for a Group role, involving the above in UK and France with possible addition of ES and other geographies as the business expands its Global reach. Responsibilities The management of all subcontracted transport services relating to these activities, including commercials and operational KPIs. The management of the central Warehouse, ensuring all goods are processed against KPIs and a policy of ‘clear floor’ is maintained for active parts / consignments. Ensuring stock accuracy is maintained against a rolling audit approach. The physical inventory held by subcontractors and partners at remote Field Stock Locations is included in the scope The management of all Internal hardware break /fix repair capability, ensuring device output and KPIs for quality, turnaround time and warranty reclamation are met. The management of all Software configuration requirements for support devices, ensuring build scripts are current at all times and required KPIs are met, with special focus on those end user time sensitive requirements. The management against P&L / Budget for all of the above, ensuring forecast requirements are understood and input. The management of and objective setting for all direct reports, in line with Business objectives, ensuring that emerging talent is identified and career progression is considered.
