Infrastructure Engineer

Cabling Installation Engineer/Infrastructure, Bristol Join our front-line installation team to work on both Business As Usual (BAU) and project-based tasks, delivering communication infrastructure solutions at customer sites. This role includes hands-on work such as cabling, network switch installation, and patching. Onsite training and a clear career development path will be provided based on experience. Key Responsibilities: * Network cabinet installations * Installation of primary and secondary containment systems * Installation of fibre and Cat6/Cat6A horizontal cabling solutions * Termination, testing, and labelling of fibre/Cat6/Cat6A solutions * Network switch installation * Copper and fibre patching Requirements * Experience terminating copper/fibre cabling (Cat6/A) * Experience of testing both fibre optic and copper cables using OTDR/ Fluke Testers * Good knowledge of current installation practices * Experience in the installation of containment systems (both Steel and PVC) * Experience in running cables internally and externally * Fibre splicing * Focused and able to work within a team and independently. * Good communication skills Qualifications * CNCI Certification or City & Guilds 3667 is a bonus * PASMA Certification * ECS / CSCS / EUSR Certification * IPAF Certification If you have the required experience and skills, and are looking for an opportunity to grow in a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you
