Maintenance Planner 📍 Uddingston, Glasgow 💷 £28,000 – £29,500 🕒 Full-Time | Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Maintenance Planner to join a busy and growing maintenance team based in Uddingston. This role is ideal for someone with experience scheduling engineers, coordinating maintenance works, and managing workloads within a fast-paced operational environment. The Role You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring engineers are effectively scheduled, and helping to deliver a high level of service to customers across a varied property portfolio. Working closely with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, you will play a key role in ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales. Responsibilities ✔ Scheduling and coordinating engineers' workloads ✔ Managing reactive and planned maintenance jobs ✔ Raising and allocating work orders through internal systems ✔ Liaising with customers, engineers, and subcontractors regarding job progress ✔ Monitoring job completion and ensuring service level agreements are met ✔ Updating maintenance systems and maintaining accurate records ✔ Ordering materials and coordinating supplier deliveries when required ✔ Producing reports and supporting operational performance targets ✔ Assisting with the continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes About You To be successful in this role, you will have: ✔ Previous experience in a Planner, Scheduler, Coordinator, Helpdesk, or Resource Planning role ✔ Experience working within Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, Housing, Construction, Utilities, or Engineering environments ✔ Strong organisational and time management skills ✔ Excellent communication and customer service abilities ✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment ✔ Good IT skills and experience using scheduling or job management systems Desirable Experience ✔ Scheduling mobile engineers or field-based operatives ✔ Experience within repairs and maintenance environments ✔ Knowledge of compliance or planned maintenance programmes ✔ Experience using CAFM or job management software Package 💷 Salary £28,000 – £29,500 🏖 Generous Holiday Entitlement 💼 Pension Scheme 📚 Ongoing Training & Development 📈 Long-Term Career Progression 🤝 Supportive Team Environment This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation offering stability, development, and the chance to play a key role within a busy operations team.
