We are seeking a dedicated On-Call Coordinator to provide essential out-of-hours support, ensuring seamless service delivery and continuity of care for our clients. Please Note: The role may require for you to deliver care around the Manchester area in the event of an emergency. Job Overview: This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Carer or Healthcare Professional looking to top up their earnings with flexible, part-time hours. The On-Call Coordinator will manage out-of-hours queries, cover emergency staff shortages, and ensure all services run smoothly during evenings and weekends. Key Responsibilities: * Provide on-call support for care staff and clients outside of normal office hours (mainly weekends and after 17:00 on weekdays). * Respond to emergency calls, staff absences, and any service-related issues efficiently. * Coordinate last-minute cover by liaising with available care staff. * Ensure service users' needs are met by maintaining adequate staffing levels. * Maintain clear communication with the operational team regarding any significant issues. * Keep accurate records of all out-of-hours interactions and actions taken. Requirements: * Experience in social care, preferably as a Senior Carer, Team Leader or Care Coordinator. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle urgent situations calmly. * Good communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently and use initiative. * Access to a phone and reliable transport (essential).
