Estimating Administrator


Are you a proactive and organised administrator who wants to support a busy estimating team in a growing contractor environment? We’re recruiting for an Estimating Administrator to support the Estimating Manager of a well-established refurbishment and fit-out contractor with a turnover of around £4 million and multiple live projects. Your Role * Assist the Estimating Manager with tender enquiries and submissions * Upload and manage tender documentation and associated correspondence * Liaise with suppliers/sub-contractors to collect pricing and scope responses * Maintain and update project folders, trackers and databases * Provide general estimation-team administration and co-ordination You Bring * Strong organisational and document‐control skills * Comfortable using Excel and document management systems such as Conquest (training can be provided) * Previous experience in construction administration, estimating support, bid coordination (or interest in moving into that space) * High attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines and a collaborative, can-do attitude Why This Opportunity? * You’ll join a committed team delivering around 5-6 projects at any time across sectors (commercial, education, leisure, residential) — all refurb & fit-out based * The business is in growth mode and values efficient estimating support for its next phase of expansion * West Edinburgh location with parking makes your commute easy * Lovely team-oriented culture in a business proud of its “client-first” approach If you’re keen to develop your estimating or pre-construction career and make a real impact in a supportive, growing business — apply now
